Mid Winter in the Tweed Valley

Once again we are surrounded by snow covered hills here in the Scottish Borders.  I love the sight of the sheep in the surrounding fields.  Always great inspiration for less vibrant works.

Work available at Peebles Studio

Following on from a few busy exhibitions of late I have now moved most of what work is currently available over to my new studio in Peebles.  Customers are welcome to visit the studio which is situated at Chambers House, 72 High Street, Peebles.  Call ahead first to make sure I am open on 07950 737766.

The Country Living Show, SECC, GLASGOW

Friday 25th November sees the private view of our Winter/Xmas Exhibition of Art at Wasps Studios, Selkirk. Three of the studio artists, Fiona Millar, Colin Philip and myself have invited three of our favourite artists to join us in this years show. They are Damian Callan, Basia Rosak and Helen Tabor, all very talented and successful Scottish based artists.  Please join us at the preview from 5-8pm. The exhibition runs daily from 26th November until 4th December, 10am - 5pm daily.

The Macmillan Edinburgh Art Show 2011

                                                 

The Edinburgh Macmillan Art Show 2011 is an art sale in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. This year is the 100th year of Macmillan, making it an extra special occasion. Please join us at the Dovecot Studios from October 6-15 for works from over 100 leading artists and jewellers. Our raffle prize for 2011 is Highland Dream, donated by the amazing Moy Mackay, who creates her works from felted merino fibres.

Peebles Arts Festival at The Tontine Hotel

Saturday 27th August sees the start of this years Peebles Arts Festival. I will be exhibiting work in the lounge and bistro area of the Tontine Hotel in Peebles High Street. Non residents most welcome into the hotel to view the exhibition. A percentage of all sales made during this show will be donated to the Peebles Scout Hall Appeal.
