New 'Bird' collection

Every so often I feel the need to deviate from my landscapes. Last year it was 'Cupcakes', this year it seems to be 'Birds'. My first attempt was whilst at Search Press in Tunbridge Wells earlier this year. I spent a few days at their studio there working on the contents of a book they are publishing, due out January 2012. It is a step-by-step type book and one of the projects is a bird. I was so pleased with the result that I came home and created a whole flock of them. Some of my 'Birds' can now be seen at Morningside Gallery, Edinburgh, The Flat Cat Gallery,Lauder, Dancing Light Gallery, Lamancha and The Biscuit Factory, Newcastle.

SPRING EXHIBITION at Wasps Studios, Selkirk

Our studio is holding it's first Spring Exhibition. There will be an eclectic mix of 13 artists exhibiting work this time. The opening night is Friday 20th May from 6.30-8.30pm. Come and join us for a glass of wine.

Dancing Light Gallery, Lamancha

This is a beautiful new gallery at Whitmuir Organics, near Lamancha. As well as the gallery there is a fantastic restaurant, shop and farm shop, not to mention a lovely tipi by us at Wolf Glen Tipis.

I will be showcasing my new series of 'Bird' works which am loving creating. A completely new subject matter for me , now I just have to learn all their names!

Come and join us at the opening of the exhibition on Saturday 30th April or Sunday 1st May between 12 noon and 3pm and meet the participating artists.

Artwork for Christmas

Because of the weather we have had recently many people were unable to get to our Art Show at Christmas at my studio in Selkirk.
