Fee Dickson Reid

Fee Dickson Reid creates large atmospheric seascapes in oils based on her native East Lothian coastline. Her work is made alla prima in the studio, usually right after a beach walk for inspiration. Her paintings are filled with light, calm and a strong sense of place.

Originally trained in architecture at Edinburgh College of Art, Fee began painting after redundancy in 2009 and has been exhibiting regularly since 2014. She has had numerous solo exhibitions at the Torrance Gallery, Edinburgh, also showing with many other galleries such as The Whitehouse Gallery, Kircudbright and Fidra Fine Art, Gullane.

Fee has exhibited with the RSW, FabrianoinAquarello in Italy, and was awarded a month’s residence at Marchmont House in 2021, and regularly shows at Art Fairs across the UK.

Fee’s work sells worldwide, and is held in private collections in Dubai, Australia, America, Canada, Singapore and Europe.
