What We Offer
Moy’s farmhouse-style home is located in the Scottish Borders, surrounded by stunning pastoral landscapes that offer year-round inspiration. Despite its large footprint, Moy’s home is cozy, inviting and filled with the beautiful, handcrafted touches that you might (or might not!) expect in an artist’s residence.
Moy is delighted to offer both her home, and her large studio space to other artists and creatives looking for a rustic and atmospheric venue in which to host their own events - from one day workshops to multi-day retreats.

Moy’s home offers six bedrooms over three levels of the house. Three rooms contain double beds and the remaining three contain twin beds.
While the total capacity is therefore up to twelve people, we recommend limiting the total number of guests staying in the house to maximum of nine to ensure comfortable access to communal facilities such as bathrooms.
In addition to bedrooms, Moy’s home offers two generous lounges, an established garden overlooking surrounding countryside, and a large farmhouse-style kitchen. There is parking for a maximum of 6 vehicles at the front of Moy’s house.

Moy’s home is located in the small village of Traquair, near Innerleithen in the Scottish Borders.
The Southern Upland Way passes in front of Moy’s front door offering direct access to the surrounding countryside, woodlands and hilltops.
Traquair House provides a historic point of interest within walking distance.
The nearby town of Peebles is a 20 minute drive, and Edinburgh can be reached in 1 hour. Glasgow is approximately 1.5 hours away.

Venue Hire Pricing
Studio Day Hire
Rental of the large studio from 9am to 5pm. Guests have access to the studio, garden spaces, and kitchen. Studio day hire does not include catering, though guests will have access to tea and coffee making facilities
£200 per day
£30 per additional hour
Catered Workshops
Rental from 9am to 5pm includes access to the studio, garden studio, garden spaces, kitchen, and lounge spaces. Catering is provided by Mint Fine Dining and includes tea and coffee service, light lunch, and afternoon snack.
£400 per day
£30 per additional hour
A two-course dinner may be added for an additional £35 per person
Overnight Stays
Our catered overnight workshop stays offer flexible accommodation options for between 5 and 9 guests. Mint Fine Dining caters three meals across a workshop day and overnight stay — guests receive dinner, breakfast and lunch, or lunch, dinner then breakfast the next morning depending on whether you choose for the group to stay before or after your workshop.
For a workshop followed by overnight stay, rental includes access from 9am until 10am the following day.
For an overnight stay followed by workshop, rental includes access from 4pm until 5pm the following day.
