Yeung Joo Han is from South Korea, and studied at Edinburgh College of Art. She currently lives and works in Edinburgh. Influenced by impressionist and expressionist artists she uses warn, bold and lively colours to express her feelings of joyfulness in the landscape. The subject matter of her painting is the tranquility, stillness, and solitude she feels in nature. These works are mainly done as a result of travelling around Scotland.
